The current state of power generation and supply in our world

When you imagine senior living in a private home or an entire country, an adequate supply of electricity often comes first. Power generation is an important prerequisite for growth and development. Many countries use them as their primary energy source. In addition to generating electricity, we also use non-renewable resources to fuel our vehicles and heating systems. Since we depend so much on these resources across societies, it's only a matter of time before they run out.

Renewable resource

On the other hand, renewable resources are the natural resources that the earth is constantly replenishing. These renewable resources include solar, wind, biomass and hydro.

As we become more environmentally conscious, renewable resources are gaining importance. One of them is solar energy. That is, using light and heat from the sun to generate electricity. It is a relatively modern form of renewable energy; however, its use is growing rapidly globally.

Switching to solar energy is one of the key sustainable steps we can take to combat climate change and its negative impacts. With its smallest carbon footprint, solar energy is a critical step in prioritizing clean energy and reducing carbon emissions.

Due to the heat required to convert these natural resources into electricity, facilities require proper cooling systems. As a result, facilities consume a lot of energy and then dump large amounts of toxic chemicals and metals into waterways.

However, solar energy does not require water to generate electricity. This results in a lower water footprint and less water pollution. With this in mind, solar energy can be one of the solutions to the challenges of water scarcity and pollution.
